Controlled Chaos of Pouring, Dripping, Splashing.
Embrace the physicality of watercolor by steering pours, timing drips, and choreographing splashes. This hands on session teaches board tilting, flow control, safe splashing techniques, and the use of liquid masking fluid to protect highlights and shape negative space. Key materials: Squeeze bottles; pipettes; large wash brushes; tooth brushes; liquid masking fluid & masking tape.
$120 per session (1.5-2.0 hours). Includes all materials, live painting demonstration, guided watercolor practice and a finished artwork to take home.
